Fort Worth homicide detectives are investigating the shooting death of a 60-year-old man found at a west Fort Worth apartment complex on Monday morning, September 8th.
Police were called to the 6500 block of Tom Stock Drive shortly after 8 a.m., where they discovered the victim with a gunshot wound to his upper body. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Preliminary investigation indicates the victim was involved in an argument and physical altercation with a witness when an unidentified person fired the fatal shots. The suspect fled the scene and has not yet been apprehended.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as 60-year-old Keith Charles Carter. The cause of death was listed as “gunshot wound to head and neck.”
