ARLINGTON, Texas — Police are investigating a stabbing that left a 53-year-old woman dead Monday morning.
Around 9:00 a.m. on September 22, officers responded to a home in the 1000 block of Shortleaf Pine Drive (Central Arlington area) after a family member discovered the woman unresponsive and bleeding in the backyard. She had multiple apparent stab wounds and was transported to a local hospital, where she later died.
Detectives believe the victim likely knew her killer and that the attack was not random. No arrests have been made as the investigation continues.
