Suspect Charged with Murder After Victim Dies from Stabbing Injuries at Dallas Hospital

On September 29, 2025, at approximately 5:00 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a stabbing call in the 4500 block of Live Oak Street in Old East Dallas.

The preliminary investigation determined that 57-year-old Delia Duron was stabbed by the suspect, 48-year-old Damion Solomon, at the location. Duron was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

Solomon was arrested at the scene and initially charged with Aggravated Assault Family Violence with a Deadly Weapon.

On October 11, 2025, Duron succumbed to her injuries. Following her death, Solomon’s charge was upgraded to Murder.

He remains in the Dallas County Jail and is being held without bond.
