On October 19, 2025, at around 6:50 a.m., Dallas Police officers responded to a fire call in the 10000 block of Eastwood Drive in East Dallas. Dallas Fire Rescue had arrived at the scene for an RV fire outside a home, and officers assisted with traffic control.
After the fire was extinguished, responders discovered an unidentified individual who was pronounced dead. A deceased dog was also found at the scene.
The investigation, initially classified as a fire-related death, has since been reclassified as a homicide under case number 150640-2025.
