Young Man Dead in Shooting at Flips Patio Grill in Fort Worth

Early Sunday morning, November 30, Fort Worth Police and Fire/EMS responded to a shooting at Flips Patio Grill in the 6600 block of Fossil Bluff Drive near Western Center Boulevard in the Fossil Creek area. Officers found a 20-year-old man with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.

UPDATE: The victim transported to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital has died.  The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office identified him as 20-year-old Isaiah Angel Gonzales. He succumbed to his injuries at 5:50 pm.  The investigation has revealed that Gonzales was getting into a vehicle when two unidentified persons walked in front of the car and fired into it multiple times.  

Detectives are still working to determine what led to the shooting. The investigation is ongoing.
