DALLAS, TX - Dallas Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on January 6, 2026, in the 2900 block of E 11th Street near Cedar Crest Boulevard.
Officers responded to a call around 10:00 p.m. and found 27-year-old Just Smith-Gibbs suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Dallas Fire-Rescue transported Smith-Gibbs to a local hospital, where they later died.
The motives and circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation. No suspects have been identified yet.
