COPPELL, Texas — A 49-year-old motorcyclist died Wednesday after a crash involving an SUV on North Denton Tap Road, police said.
Officers and firefighters responded around 10:10 a.m. on March 25, 2026, to a major collision between Sandy Lake Road and Fitness Court.
According to investigators, the motorcycle, a 2010 KTM, was traveling southbound when it collided with a 2022 gray Hyundai SUV that was making a left turn from the northbound lanes.
The motorcyclist, identified as Zoltan Cserni of Highland Village, was transported to Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Grapevine, where he later died from his injuries.
Police said the driver of the SUV was not injured and has been cooperating with investigators.
The Coppell Police Department’s Traffic Division, along with a regional accident reconstruction team, is continuing to investigate the crash. Authorities said alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
