20-Year-Old Man Killed in Early Morning Shooting at Arlington 7-Eleven Store

ARLINGTON, Texas — A 20-year-old man has died following a shooting early Thursday in an Arlington convenience store parking lot, police said.

Officers responded around 1:24 a.m. on March 26, 2026, to the 7-Eleven located in the 2100 block of East Abram Street after receiving reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, they found the victim unresponsive on the ground with an apparent gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Homicide detectives are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Authorities said no arrests have been made and are examining whether the incident may be connected to high-risk activity.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the victim’s identity.
