DALLAS, Texas — The Dallas Police Department is mourning the loss of one of its officers who died following a medical emergency while off duty.

According to Police Chief Daniel C. Comeaux, Senior Corporal Christopher Blow passed away on April 15, 2026, after suffering a medical emergency on an airplane.

Blow had served with the department since 2013 and was most recently assigned to the Vice Unit.

“This is a devastating loss for our department,” Comeaux said in a statement. “Senior Corporal Blow committed his career to serving the people of Dallas, and his absence will be deeply felt by his colleagues, friends, and all who had the privilege of working alongside him.”
