DUNCANVILLE, Texas — A Duncanville High School teacher has been arrested following an investigation into allegations involving a student, according to Duncanville police.
Garrett Michael Davis was taken into custody around 11:30 a.m. on Friday, May 1st, and charged with voyeurism, a state jail felony.
Police said the investigation began after reports were made to school administrators. The case was initially referred to the Duncanville ISD Police Department before being handed over to the Duncanville Police Department for further investigation.
Duncanville Independent School District officials said Davis has been placed on administrative leave and that the district is cooperating fully with investigators. The district also emphasized its commitment to maintaining a safe learning environment and encouraged anyone with additional information to come forward.
