Arlington Police Identify Driver Killed in Fatal E. Division Street Crash

ARLINGTON, Texas — Arlington police have identified the driver who was killed in a two-vehicle crash last week on East Division Street.

Officers responded at approximately 4:08 p.m. on June 12, 2026, to the 3300 block of East Division Street after receiving reports of a collision involving a 2012 Kia Forte and a 2022 Ram F550.

When emergency responders arrived, the driver of the Kia was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities initially could not identify the victim because he was not carrying identification.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office later identified the deceased as 44-year-old Bradley Damota.

The driver of the Ram was not injured in the crash.

According to the Arlington Police Department's Traffic Division, investigators reviewed digital evidence and interviewed witnesses to determine what led to the collision.

Investigators found that the Ram was traveling westbound on Division Street when the Kia attempted to pull out of a gas station and enter the eastbound lanes of traffic. Police said the Kia pulled into the path of the oncoming truck, which then struck the side of the vehicle.

Authorities said the driver of the Ram remained at the scene and fully cooperated with investigators.

At this time, no criminal charges have been filed in connection with the crash.

The investigation remains ongoing as accident investigators complete their review of the incident.
