DALLAS, Texas - A 19-year-old man died after being shot Friday morning in the Pleasant Grove area of Dallas, and detectives are asking for the public's help in identifying the person responsible.
Dallas police responded at approximately 11:10 a.m. on July 10 to a reported shooting in the 9500 block of Bruton Road.
According to the preliminary investigation, 19-year-old Lacorian Terrion Darfour was shot by an unknown suspect. Darfour was known as "Huncho" by friends.
Dallas Fire-Rescue transported Darfour to a local hospital in critical condition, where he later died from his injuries.
Police have not released information about a possible suspect or a motive for the shooting.
The homicide remains under investigation under case number 100387-2026.
