Two Killed, Third Person Critically Injured in Garland Shooting
GARLAND, Texas - Two people were killed and a third was critically injured in a shooting Sunday morning outside a Garland home, police said.
Garland police responded around 7:45 a.m. to the 400 block of Bay Shore Drive, where officers found three people outside a residence suffering from gunshot wounds.
Two of the victims were pronounced dead at the scene. The third was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
Police have not released the identities of the victims or provided details about what led to the shooting.
Investigators said two vehicles that left the scene were later located. The occupants of those vehicles were detained as part of the investigation. Police did not say how many people were detained or whether anyone has been arrested or charged.
Preliminary information indicates the shooting was an isolated incident, according to police.
