Your Guide to Las Colinas
Las Colinas is Irving's business and entertainment center: a master-planned community of about 12,000 acres developed beginning in the 1970s on land that once belonged to the Carpenter family ranch. Today it is home to corporate headquarters, lakeside apartments, a walkable Urban Center, and some of the most recognizable landmarks in North Texas.

Getting to know Las Colinas
The Urban Center and Lake Carolyn. The heart of Las Colinas is the Urban Center, a district of office towers, residences, and restaurants built around Lake Carolyn. Walking trails circle the lake, and the Mandalay Canal winds through a Spanish-inspired walkway lined with shops and dining.
The Mustangs of Las Colinas. In Williams Square stands one of the largest equestrian sculptures in the world: nine bronze mustangs galloping across a granite plaza, created by sculptor Robert Glen. It remains one of the most photographed spots in Irving.
Toyota Music Factory. The entertainment district near Lake Carolyn includes a major concert venue, restaurants, and bars, making it one of the busiest nightlife destinations in the western Metroplex.
Business and employers. Las Colinas is one of North Texas' major corporate centers, home to the global headquarters of companies including McKesson, Caterpillar and Kimberly-Clark. Other Fortune 500 companies headquartered in Irving-Las Colinas include Fluor, Vistra, Celanese, Commercial Metals and Builders FirstSource. The concentration of corporate headquarters and major regional offices has made Irving-Las Colinas one of the Dallas-Fort Worth area's leading employment centers.
Getting around. DART's Orange Line runs through Las Colinas, with stops at Las Colinas Urban Center and the Irving Convention Center, providing direct rail service to both downtown Dallas and DFW International Airport. The airport station is located at Terminal A, while downtown stops include West End, Akard, St. Paul and Pearl/Arts District.
