3 Irving ISD Students Named National Merit Commended Scholars

Singley Academy senior Edwin Shaw and MacArthur High School seniors Zaynab Traveras and Jinwook Lee have been named Commended Scholars in the 2017 National Merit Scholarship Program.  These scholars placed among the top five percent of more than 1.6 million students who entered the competition by taking the Preliminary SAT (PSAT)/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
