CTE Students Recognized for National Wins

The Irving ISD Board of Trustees recognized several Irving ISD students who competed – and excelled – at national competitions for Future Health Professionals (also known as HOSA) and FCCLA (Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America) held this summer including:

Rebecca Binny (Singley) – HOSA International Champion in dental science
Ashley Barcenas, Zoe Lass, Kayla Valentine, Inseya Mughal, Kevin Landin (Singley) – National FCCLA gold medalists
Juan Altamirano (Singley) – National FCCLA gold medalist, third highest score in the nation
Trevor Ellenbecker, Jared Shrode (Singley) – National FCCLA silver medalists
Natalie Albert, Jordyn Stanley (Irving) – National FCCLA silver medalists
