Broken Gas Line Reported At Brown Elementary School In Irving

On February 17, 2022, the Irving Fire Department responded to a HazMat, broken gas line at Brown Elementary School, located at 2501 Tenth St, Irving, TX.    Fire dispatch received the call at 7:23 am reporting gas odor at the school.   The building was evacuated and the drop-off lane was closed.  Irving Fire, Irving Police and Atmos Gas responded to the location.  The gas was quickly shut off and the school has now been reopened.  No injuries were responded.
