Teen Killed in Arlington TX Fiery Car Accident

At 11:30 p.m., Arlington police responded to a single-vehicle accident call at the 2400 block of East I-20 at the eastbound exit ramp toward State Highway 360 south

According to a police press release, a 2019 Land Rover left the roadway due to an unknown reason and struck a concrete support pillar. The crash caused the vehicle to roll over and become fully engulfed in flames.

The 18-year-old female driver of the Land Rover was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. No one else was in the vehicle.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the deceased once next of kin has been notified.
