Woman Killed in Johnson County Car Crash

The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating a fatality accident that occurred on Highway 67 in Johnson County over the weekend.

At around 6:00pm on Saturday evening, multiple agencies were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash on Highway 67 between Cleburne and Glen Rose.

Officials say a vehicle was traveling eastbound on Highway 67 when the driver crossed over the middle line and hit an oncoming vehicle. The driver of the eastbound vehicle, a 48-year-old woman, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the second vehicle was airlifted to a local hospital with serious injuries.

Lanes of the highway were closed while DPS Troopers investigated the accident scene.
