City of Irving Attempting to Attract Applicants by Offering $1,500 Hiring Bonus

The City of Irving is hiring and to help attract applicants, new full-time hires can receive up to $1,500 during their first year of employment. New full-time employees will receive $500 after:

First 30 days.
A six-month orientation period.
One year of employment.

Incentive payments are made provided there are no attendance or disciplinary issues.

Reqs: Bach’s degree or equiv. or higher in Ed., Spanish, or closely related field (in lieu of bach’s degree, employer will accept any degree, program of study, or # of yrs of ed. in the same fields, domestic or foreign, that will permit the incumbent to receive TX educator cert.); five yrs’ teaching exp; TX educator cert. or eligible.
