A limo driver will not face charges following a fatal crash in north Arlington, police say.

At approximately 10:56 pm on Tuesday evening (Nov. 29), a limo driver was traveling northbound on N. Collins Street when the vehicle struck a pedestrian walking in the right lane of the roadway. Police say he was wearing dark clothing.

Paramedics transported the pedestrian to a Texas Health HEB, but he was pronounced deceased. He has been identified as a 31-year-old man.

Police say the limo driver pulled over and rendered “reasonable assistance.” She is not facing any charges related to this accident.

The collision occurred between NE Green Oaks Blvd and Viridian Park Lane.

“The Arlington Police Department reminds the public that pedestrians should always use sidewalks and only cross roadways at traffic lights and designated crosswalks.”
