The Grand Prairie Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred Friday night in the 2400 block of North Carrier Parkway.
At approximately 9:30 P.M., officers responded to a shooting in the 2400 block of North Carrier Parkway where officers located a male with an apparent gunshot wound. The victim, identified as Daniel Garcia, 33 years of age, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Based on statements from a witness, investigators believe the victim was robbed at gunpoint by three unknown males and ultimately shot.
No arrests have been made and this case remains under investigation.
