On May 31, 2023, at around 10:30 am, officers responded to a call for service regarding a man who was dropped off at a local hospital with a gunshot wound. The victim, 21-year-old Andre Elijah Miller, later died from his injuries.
This was initially investigated as an unexplained death. On June 5, 2023, the Medical Examiner ruled the victims death a homicide.
This remains an ongoing investigation that will be documented under case number 099403-2023.
