A shooting incident in the 10400 block of Joaquin Drive early this morning has left one person dead. Dallas Police responded to a 911 call reporting a person shot at the location around 2:00 a.m.
Upon arrival at the parking lot of Ferguson Wash & Dry, officers discovered a male victim on the ground. Despite efforts by Dallas Fire Rescue, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim was identified as 15-year-old Mikel Davis.
Dallas Police are conducting an investigation into the shooting and have not released any information about suspects or motives at this time.
The investigation is ongoing and documented under case number 112216-2023.
