The Arlington Police Department has made an arrest in connection to an Arlington deadly shooting that occurred on July 1, 2023, at an apartment complex in the 2800 block of Forest Hollow Lane.
After speaking with witnesses and reviewing evidence in the case, APD homicide detectives obtained an arrest warrant for 26-year-old Catderian Strong on one count of Murder.
On July 2, members of the U.S. Marshals North Texas Fugitive Task Force located Mr. Strong at a home in Fort Worth and took him into custody without incident. He was booked into the Arlington City Jail and has since been transferred to the Tarrant County Jail.
Through the course of their investigation, detectives learned the 33-year-old victim was in a relationship with one of Mr. Strong’s family members. They believe the two men got into an argument over that family member, which then escalated into a physical fight and ultimately the shooting.
