Multiple Arrests Made in Irving on Charges Including Prostitution and Child Abuse

Sridhar Aemireddy, Romero Garcia, Jerald Shipman and Jonathan Laquinton Wade

On September 12, 2023, the Irving Police Department made several arrests related to illegal activities in the city.

Four men were taken into custody for soliciting prostitution. They have been identified as 50-year-old Sridhar Aemireddy, who was booked at 5:41 PM, 32-year-old Romero Garcia, booked at 8:19 PM, 28-year-old Jerald Shipman, booked at 4:52 PM, and 32-year-old Jonathan Laquinton Wade, who was booked at 11:09 PM. Each of them had a bond amount set at $1,000. Notably, Jonathan Laquinton Wade had 18 outstanding warrants from the Dallas Police Department, including charges such as driving without a license, failure to maintain financial responsibility, state registration violations, failure to appear, failure to maintain required seatbelt use, speeding, disregarding stop signs, driving with an expired license, and defective and obstructed license plates.

In addition to these arrests, the Irving Police Department also apprehended 31-year-old Ashley Wiggens on the same day. She was booked into the Irving Jail at 11:28 PM on charges related to prostitution. Ashley Wiggens also faces charges of possession of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 1, less than 1 gram, and trafficking of children.

Another arrest made on September 12, 2023, was that of 38-year-old Darryll Freemond Vance, who was booked at 1:46 PM. Vance has been charged with sexual abuse of a child.

The Irving Police Department continues its efforts to maintain public safety and address various criminal activities within the city.
