On November 26, 2023, at approximately 6:30 p.m., Dallas Police were called to respond to a shooting incident in the 6200 block of Ridgecrest Road in northeast Dallas.
Upon arrival, officers discovered 35-year-old Roderick Terry and 37-year-old Jeanifer Harris both suffering from gunshot wounds at the scene.
Following a preliminary investigation, it was determined that Terry shot Harris before turning the weapon on himself. Both individuals were rushed to a local hospital in critical condition.
On November 28, 2023, both Harris and Terry succumbed to their injuries and passed away.
