Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash on International Parkway Near DFW Airport South Exit

On Thursday, December 21, 2023, tragedy struck on the southbound lanes of International Parkway, just south of the DFW Airport south exit, as emergency responders from Fort Worth Fire, Police, and MedStar EMS rushed to the scene of a major accident.

At 8:58 pm, authorities were alerted to a hit-and-run incident involving two stranded motorists. The victims, waiting for a tow truck, were struck by a passing vehicle. The driver responsible for the collision fled the scene without stopping to render aid.

Tragically, one of the individuals, a 57-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene. The condition of the other stranded motorist has not been released at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
