On Friday, January 19, 2024, at around 12:27 a.m., the Arlington Police Department responded to reports of a fight at an apartment complex located in the 2200 block of Blue Water Drive (Waterdance Apartments between E. Arkansas Ln and E. Pioneer Pkwy).
Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered an unresponsive male in the parking lot, suffering from severe blunt trauma to the head. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased due to his injuries.
According to information gathered from witness statements and evidence at the scene, detectives believe that two vehicles pulled up beside the victim in the parking lot. Subsequently, three suspects exited the vehicles, engaged in a verbal altercation with the victim, pursued him, and proceeded to strike him with two large objects.
As of now, no arrests have been made, and detectives lack detailed descriptions of the suspects or the vehicles they fled in.
