On March 25, 2024, at approximately 7:45 PM, Dallas Police were dispatched to the 3100 block of W. Wheatland Road, near the Red Bird area south of I-20, in response to a shooting incident.
Upon arrival, officers discovered 28-year-old Todderrius Watson suffering from gunshot wounds in the parking lot of a local business. Dallas Fire Rescue responded to the scene and transported Watson to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Watson succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
As of now, authorities have not released any information regarding potential suspects in connection with the shooting. The investigation into this homicide is currently underway and is being documented under case number 047859-2024.
