A shooting incident occurred at the Luxor Hookah Lounge in Lewisville on Friday night, March 29. At around 11:44 p.m., Lewisville 9-1-1 received a call reporting the incident at the lounge situated in the 1600 block of S. SH 121 Business.
Witnesses informed law enforcement that a brawl involving multiple individuals erupted outside the club and spilled over into the parking lot. During the altercation in the parking area, an individual opened fire, hitting two males.
A 19-year-old victim succumbed to his injuries after being transported to a nearby hospital. The second victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Details about the suspect remain undisclosed at this time.
Authorities have assured the public that this was an isolated event, and there is no ongoing threat to safety.
