A shooting incident occurred yesterday evening at the intersection of North Masters Drive and Carolina Oaks Drive in Pleasant Grove, prompting a response from the Dallas Police Department. The incident was reported at approximately 7:00 pm following a minor vehicle accident at the intersection.
According to the preliminary investigation, a dispute erupted among individuals not involved in the initial crash, resulting in a physical altercation. During the altercation, an unidentified suspect opened fire, injuring three individuals.
Emergency services, including Dallas Fire-Rescue, responded to the scene. A 16-year-old victim succumbed to their injuries after being transported to a local hospital. Due to their age, the identity of the deceased has not been disclosed.
Additionally, a second victim sustained a gunshot wound to the foot and was transported to a nearby hospital in stable condition. A third victim, who suffered minor injuries, self-transported to a local hospital for treatment.
