On May 25, 2024, at around 10:30 p.m., Dallas Police received reports of a shooting in the 8000 block of Rothington Road, close to Skyline High School.
Upon arrival, officers discovered 30-year-old Maurice Murphy with gunshot wounds. Murphy was pronounced dead at the scene.
As of now, there is no information regarding a suspect, and the investigation remains active.
