On June 20, 2024, at approximately 6:05 PM, Dallas police responded to a shooting call in the 10500 block of Stone Canyon Road in North Dallas. Upon arrival, officers discovered 24-year-old Kameron Lewis Pickens lying on the ground with gunshot wounds. Dallas Fire Rescue arrived at the scene, but Pickens was pronounced dead.
The investigation is ongoing, and the case will be referred to a Grand Jury. The incident is documented under case number 095182-2024.
