Manhunt Underway After Shooting at Irving Chick-fil-A Leaves Two Dead

Wanted: Oved Bernardo Mendoza-Argueta

On Wednesday, June 26, 2024, Irving Police responded to a shooting incident at the Chick-fil-A restaurant located in the 5300 block of N MacArthur Blvd near W. Walnut Hill Ln. Authorities reported that two victims were found deceased at the scene.

During the preliminary investigation, Irving Detectives identified the suspect as 37-year-old Oved Bernardo Mendoza-Argueta. He was last seen driving a silver 1997 Honda 4-door with Texas license plate number GVH6205.

The police urge the public not to attempt to apprehend or contact the suspect. If you know his whereabouts, please call 911 immediately.
