On Sunday, August 4, 2024, at approximately 7:27 p.m., Killeen police responded to a report of a shooting at the 400 block of Gemini Lane. Officers arrived to find 19-year-old Keman S. Greenidge with a gunshot wound. Life-saving measures were administered on the scene until paramedics transported Greenidge by air to Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Texas. He was pronounced deceased by Justice of the Peace Keith Reed at 10:28 p.m.
Detectives have identified an associate of the victim as a person of interest. There is no current threat to the community.
