On Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at approximately 10:17 a.m., Euless Police responded to a collision at the intersection of East Euless Boulevard and Dickey Drive. The crash involved two vehicles, each occupied by one driver.
The driver of one vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the second vehicle was transported to Baylor Grapevine Hospital by Euless Fire Department Medics with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The multi-agency CRASH investigation unit has responded to the scene and is handling the ongoing investigation. East Euless Boulevard is currently closed eastbound from South Euless Main Street. Updates on road openings will be provided as they become available.
UPDATE: The deceased driver was identified as 80-year-old Amirali Hasham Sukhyani of Euless.
