On October 27, 2024, around 6:25 p.m., Dallas Police responded to reports of a shooting in the 5600 block of Spring Valley Road in Far North Dallas. The investigation revealed that two individuals had been shot in the parking lot of an apartment complex. One person was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other was transported to the hospital by Dallas Fire-Rescue.
