Keller Middle School Teacher Arrested for Sexual Assault of Minor

Keller Police detectives arrested 45-year-old Angela Barnes on October 21, 2024, on charges of sexual assault of a child and engaging in an improper relationship between an educator and student.

Keller PD was provided information in late September that Barnes, a Carroll Middle School teacher, was having an inappropriate relationship with an underage boy who was a former student. Detectives began investigating the case immediately and discovered that Barnes was engaged in a sexual relationship with an underage boy throughout the months of June and July 2024 and that the relationship had since ended.

Barnes was booked into the Keller Regional Jail on the following charges: Sexual Assault of a Child and Improper Relationship Between Educator and Student.
