A 23-year-old man has been indicted on six felony charges after a multi-agency effort led to the rescue of a 15-year-old girl held against her will in Denton.
On August 22 at 7:09 p.m., Frisco Police Department contacted Denton Police for assistance in locating a missing girl from Frisco. The victim, who reported being held in an apartment, shared information that helped police pinpoint her location on the 1700 block of W. Oak Street.
Denton, Frisco, and University of North Texas Police officers located the girl and the suspect, Jordan Hagen, in the apartment. Hagen was arrested without incident, and the victim was taken to a hospital for evaluation.
Investigators revealed that Hagen met the victim online through a chat room and transported her from Frisco to his apartment. On November 7, a Denton County Grand Jury indicted Hagen on six felony charges, including two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child, trafficking, indecency, online solicitation, and possession of lewd material. Hagen remains in Denton County Jail with a bond set at $325,000.
Denton PD expressed gratitude to Frisco PD and UNT PD for their coordinated efforts in locating the victim promptly.
