Construction at Toyota Music Factory, located at 316 W. Las Colinas Blvd., has largely been completed, with significant improvements made to the plaza and surrounding areas. Work began in early 2024 and included a remodel of the central plaza, stage, and select storefronts, as well as enhanced signage and the addition of music-inspired murals and art throughout the 500,000-square-foot entertainment venue.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony held on December 10, 2024, marked the successful completion of the renovation project.

Plaza Renovations The newly revamped plaza now offers more seating and shade for visitors, with five shade structures added around the central turf area, allowing for year-round outdoor enjoyment. Landscaping, including trees and greenery, complements these structures. A relocated main stage now sits on the east side of the plaza, creating space for additional seating and a new shade structure. A hospitality container serving food, drinks, and promotional items has also been installed next to the stage, with seating on its second floor overlooking the plaza. Overhead string lights and a kid’s zone provide further enhancements.

Visual Enhancements The venue’s appearance has been elevated with the installation of murals and other artwork. These murals, combining music and Texas themes, are featured throughout the facility. A rotating gallery of local art can be found in “Artist’s Alley” between restaurants Thirsty Lion and Bar Louie, while another unique visual display with LED instruments is located near Gloria’s Latin Cuisine.

Improved Signage New signage makes it easier for both pedestrians and vehicles to navigate the Toyota Music Factory. Parking garage entrances have been marked with bold red accents, and the interior features new graphics to help visitors locate different levels.

Funding and Investment Toyota Music Factory is owned by the City of Irving but is managed by Music Factory Portfolio LP, an affiliate of Brookfield Properties. In January 2024, the Irving City Council approved an agreement to reimburse Brookfield for the cost of certain facility improvements using sales and mixed beverage tax revenue generated by the venue. This continued investment supports the growth of Irving as a destination for both entertainment and business, helping to attract corporations like Wells Fargo, Caterpillar, and Christus Health to the area.
