A Denton County jury has sentenced 45-year-old Russell Adam Finkelberg of Carrollton to 10 years in prison after finding him guilty of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
The verdict was reached on Friday, January 31, 2025, following a prosecution led by Assistant District Attorneys Rachel Nichols and Jesse Davis, with assistance from DA Investigator Richard Duggin. The case stemmed from an investigation by the Carrollton Police Department.
Charges were originally filed against Finkelberg on June 3, 2022, in the 16th Judicial District Court.
