On Wednesday, February 5, 2025, Southlake Police detectives issued warrants for 26-year old Adrian Joseph Maher of Roanoke, Texas for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child, Indecency with a Child/Sexual Contact, and Online Solicitation of a Minor.
Maher was arrested in Roanoke on those warrants and booked into the Keller Jail. He has since been transferred to the Tarrant County Jail. Bond has not yet been set.
The warrants for Maher stemmed from reports of abuse that occurred while Maher was working as a coach for a private water polo club. Maher was terminated from his position with the private club shortly after the allegations were made.
Due to the sensitive nature of the investigation and the age of the victim, no further information will be released at this time. The investigation of this case is ongoing.
Southlake Police are asking parents with children who may have interacted with Maher to contact Detective Roberson with the department's Criminal Investigations Division at (817) 748-8235 if they suspect abuse.
