El Paso, Lubbock, and Fort Worth Ranked Among Best U.S. Cities for Bitcoin Users in 2025

A new study by decentralized crypto gaming site Bety.com has placed El Paso, Lubbock, and Fort Worth among the top 10 best U.S. cities for Bitcoin users in 2025. The ranking is based on the number of Bitcoin ATMs per square mile, highlighting cities that provide residents with convenient access to cryptocurrency infrastructure.

The analysis reviewed the top 100 U.S. cities and used data from Statista to determine ATM density. Each city’s number of Bitcoin ATMs was compared to its total land area, revealing how accessible Bitcoin is at the local level.

El Paso, TX ranks third nationwide, with one Bitcoin ATM for every 0.29 square miles. The city boasts 75 Bitcoin ATMs spread across 258.788 square miles, giving its population of over 678,000 excellent access to cryptocurrency services. The ATM density positions El Paso as one of the most Bitcoin-accessible cities in the country.

Lubbock, TX came in seventh place. With 60 Bitcoin ATMs across 141.961 square miles—one ATM every 0.42 square miles—the city provides strong infrastructure for its more than 260,000 residents. This growing West Texas city has become a notable player in the digital finance space.

Fort Worth, TX earned the eighth spot on the list. With 154 Bitcoin ATMs throughout its 350.27 square miles, Fort Worth averages one ATM per 0.44 square miles. As one of Texas’s largest cities, Fort Worth has seen a surge in crypto activity and user adoption, supported by both public and private sector efforts to embrace emerging technologies.

“These findings reveal that even though Macon, Georgia, is the Bitcoin Capital of the U.S., cities like El Paso, Lubbock, and Fort Worth are quickly adopting Bitcoin ATMs,” said a spokesperson from Bety.com. “It’s exciting to see that strong crypto infrastructure isn’t just for the big cities – communities of every size are getting on board, which is a great step toward a more inclusive digital financial future.”

This rise in accessibility comes at a time when many cities are beginning to focus on building strong crypto ecosystems—not just through physical infrastructure like ATMs, but also through broader market participation and trading opportunities. One of the essential components of a functional digital asset economy is crypto market making, a process that involves continuously quoting buy and sell prices to provide liquidity in trading pairs.

CLS Global, a leading service provider in the digital asset space, is among the companies enabling this ecosystem. CLS Global offers crypto market making and tailored marketing services to help crypto projects meet both short-term growth targets and long-term strategic goals. Their services are designed to create real results, ensuring that tokens remain active, liquid, and well-positioned in increasingly competitive digital markets.

By combining widespread ATM availability with advanced services like market making, cities such as El Paso, Lubbock, and Fort Worth are not only becoming user-friendly hubs for individual crypto users—they’re also attracting blockchain projects, investors, and developers looking for a favorable environment to scale operations.

As more Americans embrace digital assets, these Texas cities are emerging as regional leaders in cryptocurrency infrastructure. The synergy between physical access, strategic economic planning, and professional crypto services signals a promising future for decentralized finance adoption in mid-sized and large urban centers alike.

With studies like this highlighting where the momentum is building, crypto users and developers are increasingly viewing cities like El Paso, Lubbock, and Fort Worth as serious contenders in the growing U.S. digital asset economy.
