The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has announced the capture of Cindy Rodriguez Singh, who was placed on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives List on July 1, 2025, in connection with the murder of her 6-year-old son, Noel Alvarez.
Singh’s addition to the Top Ten List marked a major escalation in the search for her, and authorities say her arrest represents a significant step toward justice. The FBI credited the cooperation of multiple agencies, including the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office, for the successful operation.
“This has been a long and emotional journey, one filled with difficult days, long nights, and an unwavering determination to find the truth,” said Everman City Manager and former Chief of Police Craig Spencer. “Today’s capture is not just a law enforcement success; it’s a testament to what can be accomplished when people stand together with a shared purpose. I am profoundly thankful to every agency, every investigator, and every member of the public who refused to give up. Most importantly, I want our community to know that we will not stop; we will continue to fight for answers, for justice, and for the safety of the most vulnerable among us.”
Back in 2023, an Amber alert had been issued for Noel. Later, the investigation revealed that his mother had been involved in his death.
The FBI emphasized that the investigation remains active and ongoing. No additional details about Singh’s capture are being released at this time in order to protect the integrity of the case.
