One of those arrested was a 16-year-old taken into custody by the Dallas PD Fugitive Unit on four counts of aggravated robbery.

The Fugitive Unit also partnered with Balch Springs Police, the FBI, and the Texas Rangers to track down a suspect accused of shooting and robbing an armored truck driver in Balch Springs.

In addition, officers assigned to the U.S. Marshals Service North Texas Fugitive Task Force worked across the region to apprehend wanted offenders. Among those arrested were 19-year-olds Jayden DeJesus and Trevon Quinones in Kaufman County. Both were wanted out of Broward County, Florida, on murder charges.

Dallas police say the operation will continue through March as they focus on locating and arresting fugitives tied to violent felony cases.
