DALLAS, Texas - Dallas police are investigating the death of a 60-year-old man after the Dallas County Medical Examiner's Office ruled the case a homicide.
Officers responded at approximately 2:20 p.m. on Sunday, July 26, 2026, to a residence in the 3500 block of Wendelkin Street after receiving a call for service.
When officers arrived, they found 60-year-old Moroco Jebel Conerly unresponsive inside the residence.
Dallas Fire-Rescue personnel responded to the scene and pronounced Conerly dead.
Following an examination, the Dallas County Medical Examiner's Office determined Conerly's death was a homicide. The medical examiner also determined the time of death was approximately 1:35 p.m.
Police have not released additional details regarding the circumstances surrounding the homicide or identified any suspects.
The investigation is being documented under case number 109140-2026.
