DALLAS, Texas - The Dallas Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in identifying a suspect accused of shooting a man during an argument in southeast Dallas last month.
According to investigators, the shooting occurred at about 1 p.m. on June 5 in the 800 block of Oslo Lane, south of U.S. Highway 175.
Police said the victim and the suspect became involved in an argument while the suspect was seated inside a pickup truck. During the confrontation, the victim approached the vehicle when the suspect allegedly produced a firearm and shot him once in the chest before fleeing the scene.
Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to the scene and transported the victim to a hospital, where he was reported to be in stable condition.
The Dallas Police Department has not released a description of the suspect and is asking anyone with information about the shooting to come forward.
