One Killed, Another Wounded in Early-Morning Shooting in Dallas' Parkdale Area

DALLAS - One man was killed and another was wounded in an early-morning shooting Saturday in the Parkdale area of Dallas, police said.

Dallas police responded to a shooting call at about 2:26 a.m. Sept. 19 in the 4000 block of Crest Hill Road, near Military Parkway.

Officers found two men suffering from gunshot wounds.

Dallas Fire-Rescue pronounced 35-year-old Everardo Suarez dead at the scene. The second man was transported to a hospital in stable condition.

Police have not released the surviving victim's identity or provided information about what led to the shooting.

The motive and circumstances remain under investigation. The case is being investigated under case number 138058-2026.
