Fort Worth Police Search for Hit-and-Run Driver After I-20 Crash Leaves Family Injured

FORT WORTH, Texas - Fort Worth police are searching for a driver accused of causing a rollover crash that injured members of a family traveling on Interstate 20 before fleeing the scene.

The crash occurred at approximately 10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, as the family was traveling westbound on I-20 just before the McCart Avenue exit.

According to the Fort Worth Police Department, another vehicle collided with the family's vehicle, causing it to roll over. Injuries were reported, although police did not release information about how many people were hurt or the severity of their injuries.

The other driver left the scene without stopping to provide assistance, police said.

Investigators described the suspect vehicle as a possible Chevrolet Silverado that was lifted and equipped with lights underneath the truck.
